Creating a customer obsessed website for the Digital Innovation Show
The Digital Innovation Show promises to fuel business growth and innovation across the UK.
Gemma, the founder of Mintsource Events and organiser of the Digital Innovation Show, came to us with an idea for a new website.
She was about to start her new marketing campaign for the Bournemouth show and therefore needed both an informative hub and a way to persuade visitors to attend the event.
Research & planning
The engagement started with an in-depth discovery call which explored areas such as:
- Business goals & challenges
- The previous Southampton event
- visitor feedback
- changes for the Bournemouth show
One key revelation was that Gemma needed a better way to sell exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities on her site.
The call also provided invaluable insight into Gemma's visitors and the audiences that she was targeting. The planning and research stage resulted in three key personas and customer journey plans for the site.
Following the customer journey plans and personas, we made the creative content, including copywriting and other graphics.
Qualitative feedback from visitors was used when copywriting to ensure that the content spoke directly to the needs of her prospects.
Squarespace site design
We chose Squarespace as the platform for the site. It provides easy to use editing tools and extensive support which enables Gemma to have full control over her site.
It also means that maintenance needs, such as security updates, are handled without any intervention from Gemma.
With their powerful tools we were able to get the site ready for Gemma's marketing campaign in just 4 days.
